History

1969

Sven Husted-Andersen and Karl-Heinz Rolle are the founding fathers of Transcoject in Neumünster. Initially, Transcoject is a sister company to Transcodan (today known as Codan of Lensahn).

1972

Transcoject is one of the first companies world-wide to produce single-use syringes made of plastic.

starting 1975

From 1975 to 1990, the new core area of business is building turn-key factories for the production of single-use plastic articles. In this era, 34 plants are erected in more than 10 countries world-wide.

1985

Thanks to the vast extension of a building, Transcoject’s premises are enlarged by 2.000 square meters (21.500 square feet). Transcoject is awarded the silver medal in the Federal Competition for Industry, Commerce and Trade in Urban Development.

starting 1989

Transcoject specialises in designing and manufacturing niche products such as application systems or syringes featuring a special scale, colour or individual packaging.

Transcoject establishes aseptic filling operations.

1997

The next generation: Dr. Alexander Rolle and Philipp Rolle take over management of the company.

starting 1997

Coming up with innovative products for the dental market, the company develops a new market.

2000

Transcoject is one of the first and few companies worl-wide to produce a medical device out of a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC).

2005

Having enjoyed 35 years of success and constant growth, the company employs around 200 persons.

New business area: the production of pharmaceutical packaging, in particular prefillable syringes made of specialty plastics, to replace glas.

1985

The dental department of Transcoject is split off as an independent company under the name of Transcodent GmbH, employing about 30. Transcodent continues to purchase all plastic products from Transcoject.

2009

More than ten very successful years later, the Rolle brothers hand over mangagement to Dr. Christian von Falkenhausen.

2010

Transcodent, the sister company, moves to Kiel (Western Baltic Sea).
