1. Data processing through the use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are text files that are saved on your computer in order to track visitor preferences and to optimize our website accordingly.

We only use transient cookies. These are automatically deleted when you close the browser. This particularly includes session cookies. The legal basis for data processing is

 - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f EU-GDPR, insofar as we fulfil our legitimate interest in facilitating and improving the use of the site and thus being able to present our offer better, as well as carrying out statistical, anonymous evaluations of site use.

We evaluate this technical data in a pseudonymized manner and only for statistical purposes in order to optimize our website and make our website even more attractive. This pseudonymized data is stored separately from personal information on secure systems and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about an individual person.

The log data collected is also used to detect technical errors or problems with data transmission and is used by our firewall to defend against attacks on our website and infrastructure.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f EU GDPR. The legitimate interest pursued consists in the security as well as the facilitation and improvement of the site usage and thereby the better presentation of our offer.

4. Data processing when applying by email

You can send us your applications for our job advertisements or unsolicited applications by email. We process the following data:

We will delete your data three months after the decision of the vacancy  placement has been made, unless you have asserted a legal claim against the decision (in this case, the deletion takes place after the completion of the procedure on your claim). 

The data is processed to check your application prospects and to select an applicant, if necessary also for legal prosecution. 

In case we consider your application for a job in the future and if you give us your consent, we will only delete your data after two years from the start of storage. You can revoke this consent later with effect for the future. Such a revocation has the consequence that you have to send your data again if you want to apply for future job vacancies. There are no other disadvantages (in particular when selecting the applicant) from this revocation. 

The legal basis for data processing is Section 26 (1) BDSG 2018 and, if you have given your consent, Article 6 (1) lit. a EU GDPR.

What generally applies to all data processing cases?
There is no data transfer to third parties or other recipients.

How do we secure your data?

We have introduced technical and organizational security measures to protect your data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. 

Our employees and any data processing third parties are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality.

Minors

Persons under the age of 18 may not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not request any personal data from minors, do not collect them and do not pass them on to third parties.
